FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to powdered printing media which are suitable for sintered ceramic materials, ink compositions for ceramics, which include printing media and ceramic pigments, and to methods of decorating wet or annealed ceramic bodies using said printing media and compositions. The printing medium includes 5-50 wt % inorganic absorbent, 10-50 wt % glycol, 20-70 wt % urea and 0.1-10 wt % rheology modifier.
EFFECT: powdered printing media yield inks for ceramics, which make it possible to make decorations having a comparable or improved definition relative to inks obtained using conventional liquid media.
