FIELD: physics; clocks.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to elements of a clock mechanism and barrel drum units of a clock mechanism having a core with a reduced diameter. The disclosed barrel drum (1) unit of a clock mechanism has a drum shaft (18) having, between first (181) and second (182) guide protrusions, a middle recess (84) on which a core (4) is placed, and a spring (2) placed between the drum (3) and said core (4). Said drum shaft (18) has, between the first protrusion (181) and the core (4), a ratchet support (81) for supporting a ratchet. The core (4) has, on the same side and at a distance from the ratchet support (81), a first part (43) which serves as a guide for rotating the drum (3), in the immediate vicinity of which the ratchet (12) is mounted at a distance and on the same side as the first protrusion (181). The ratchet support (81) limits the looseness of the drum (3) relative the supporting surface (43A) of the core (4) at the edge of the mounting surface (5) for the spring (2). Said barrel drum unit is part of a clock mechanism which includes a plate (20) and a bridge (10), wherein the barrel drum unit rotates on a first recess and a second recess on said bridge and plate. Said barrel drum unit is part of corresponding clocks.
EFFECT: invention significantly reduces the diameter of the core compared to similar barrel drum units of clock mechanisms.
