FIELD: physics; clocks.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to clock mechanisms, particularly to a barrel drum unit of a clock mechanism, a clock mechanism having at least one such barrel drum unit and to clocks having at least one mechanism of such a type and/or at least one barrel drum unit of said type. The barrel drum unit (1) of a clock mechanism comprises a main spring (2) mounted between the drum (3) and the receiving surface (5) of the core (4) of the drum, which is coaxial to said drum (3). Said spring (2) is made of a multiphase cobalt-nickel-chromium alloy, which also contains iron, tungsten, molybdenum, titanium and beryllium, with Young's modulus of 200-240 GPa and shearing modulus of 80-100 GPa, wherein the ratio of the maximum radius of the core (4) made of steel or stainless steel relative to the axis (D) of rotation to the maximum thickness of the spring (2) is not greater than 9, wherein the barrel drum unit (1) comprises, arranged on the spring (2) or on the drum (3), a means (6) of limiting the axial clearance in the direction of the axis (D) of rotation between the drum (3) and the main spring (2).
