FIELD: transport.

SUBSTANCE: system includes CO detector in vehicle passenger compartment, microcomputer, alarm signal receiving module, alarm signal transmitting module, controller, electric power source, the second CO detector located on external surface of vehicle body, and vehicle speedometer serves as the third detector, all detectors are connected to microcomputer inputs, and to microcomputer outputs following devices are connected: controller, alarm signal receiving module, ignition switch-off signal receiving module and information display, and alarm signal acknowledgement module, ignition switch-off module and audio/light alarm signalling module are connected to controller outputs, herewith, alarm signal acknowledgement module and ignition switch-off module are connected to microcomputer inputs.

EFFECT: possibility to monitor CO accumulation not only in vehicle passenger compartment but also in nearby moving vehicles and ensuring automatic ignition switching-off under conditions of gas accumulation.
