SUBSTANCE: indicator-and-control panel with instruments and control elements is placed before steering wheel. Stationary carry-on computer installed in steering column has graphical display for integrated representation of information. Removable control panel with microcomputer, graphical minidisplay, keyboard, indicator elements And control elements is pressed on to set it flush with surface and taken out from indicator-control panel or steering column by driver. Removable control panel provides remote control of automobile functional members and protection against unauthorized access. Passive transponder warns the driver that removable control panel is left in automobile, initiates carry-on computer for locking controls and opens the doors.
