FIELD: packaging industry.
SUBSTANCE: package for products, having a cup-shaped container for accommodating a group of products, having an open end; a cup-shaped lid hingedly connected to the container along a hinge line for rotation relative to the container between the open position and the closed position, opening and closing the open end respectively; a gasket connected to the inner side of the container to project partly outwards from the open end and to engage the corresponding inner surface of the lid when the lid is in the closed position; and a retaining device for retaining the lid in the closed position, comprising a retaining slot formed in the first wall of the lid; and a retaining element projecting from the second wall of the gasket and which is placed in the retaining slot when the lid is in the closed position.
