SUBSTANCE: invention is related to a plug element of a plug connector. The plug element for a sealed electrical plug connection passes through a hole (4) in a wall (5) and has a protective housing (9) comprising an inner chamber which in some places forms an attachable plug socket for the plug element (3) being plugged in and complementary to the plug element (2) having a blocking unit (11) that is actuated outside the protective housing (9) and can move from an unblocked position into a blocked one, the blocking unit (11) moves into the blocked position in the inner chamber and closes the attachable plug socket in some places, and has a sealing element (18) resting against the protective housing (9) in the final plugged-in position of the plug elements of the connector (1), the sealing element (18) is set so that to provide for seal between the protective housing (9) and the blocking unit (11) at least in the blocked position.

EFFECT: improved seal of the connection.
