FIELD: testing equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to testing equipment and can be used for complex studies of metal-cutting machines. The method comprises a pulsed exposure with the predetermined parameters on the test surface of the test unit of the machine with the quick-changeable element of the impact device on which an additional quick-changeable element is mounted, made in the form of a solid cylinder with a given weight, at that the force applied to the study unit is measured by the piezoelectric dynamometer attached to the unit of data processing. To simulate the random pulsed exposure on the said test surface the exposure is performed by the said impact device on which the additional quick-changeable element is mounted, formed with a cavity containing steel balls.
EFFECT: use of the invention enables the study machine units with exposure on them of random pulsed exposures.
