FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method is realised by introduction into oil and dispersion in it of liquid pollutant, after its dispersion emulsion is kept at rest state, with oil being preliminarily polluted with 0.05-0.1% of pollutant, mixed and kept for 20-24 hours at rest, after which liquid pollutant 60-70% of sample volume is additionally introduced in it with further exposure for 12-15 hours, after which estimation of level of oil workability is determined by change of height of broken emulsion column for specified period of time or its absence and additionally by height of column of broken upper emulsion, and/or height of column of broken basic emulsion, and/or height of column of precipitated pollutant, as well as volume of pollutant, introduced into oil, at which precipitation of pollutant or breakdown of emulsion begins, as well as their possible combinations realised is quantitative determination with estimation of level of efficiency of dispersive-stabilising additive of lubricating oil.
EFFECT: increased accuracy and reliability of determination depending on said additive activity.
