FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: said invention relates to the oil industry, namely, to methods for consolidating of an incompetent formation in a bottomhole zone. The method includes the penetration of the formation by casing string perforation, consolidation of an incompetent part of the bottomhole zone in the formation up to an initial condition by injecting cross-linked gel to the formation under the pressure that does not exceed the pressure of hydraulic fracturing of the formation, preservation of the above state by injecting a polymerised proppant. The volume of the polymerised proppant for injection is determined with the consideration of rock consolidation in the loose bottomhole zone as per the formula Vi=V - VL, where V is the volume of the incompetent one, m3; VL is the volume of a consolidated rock layer with the thickness L, m3.
EFFECT: preventing sand production from the incompetent bottomhole zone.
