FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: reducing valve refers to pneumatic automatics, and can be used to control gas pressure in gas supply systems of starting missile facilities, in particular in gas pressure regulators used at high regulating pressures up to 25 MPa and flowrates over 4 kg/s with accuracy up to 2% of set-point. In the body of said primary reducing valve coaxially with the control piston a drain piston is installed, between the control and drain pistons a compression chamber is arranged, in the chamber a jumper with seal is made for drain seat, on the drain piston there is a choke, and small step is made connected with drainage, inside it there is a drain channel, its output from the jumper side has the drain seat, at that the ratio is provided when volume of the compression chamber is below product of control piston area and its maximum stroke. From the compression chamber the drain channel is provided, its output has an air choke of small flowrate.
EFFECT: simplified design, increased accuracy, reliability and reduced weight and dimension parameters providing resistance against self-oscillations.
