FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a connection for high-voltage cables with the paper impregnated isolation, to the power supply line and to the method of connection of high-voltage cables. The method of connection of two high-voltage cables (10, 10a, 10b) with the paper impregnated isolation is described, each of cables contains the conducting core formed by a conductor (12a, 12b) wound by inner semiconductor layer (14a, 14b), an insulating layer (16) of the cable impregnated with viscous composition radially external with reference to the conducting core (13), an external semiconductor layer (18), radially external with reference to the insulating layer (16) of the cable, and at least one protective layer, radially external with reference to the external semiconductor layer. The connection for high-voltage cables with the paper impregnated isolation and the power supply line containing at least one connection is also described.
EFFECT: invention provides uniform electric difference in the cable connection and reduces time for connection of a cable.
