FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to field of agriculture. Methods includes obtaining composition of pod sealant (hermetic), including from 0.035 to 1.2% (wt/vol) of carboxymethylcellulose (HV-CMC) with PD<1500. Said composition is sprayed on agricultural legume cultures in concentration from 60 to 500 l/ha for a month, a month before crop collection. Carboxymethylcellulose (HV-CMC) with PD < 1500 is applied as sealant (hermetic) of pods (achenes).
EFFECT: inventions make it possible to reduce loss of seeds caused by seed shattering.
