FIELD: horticulture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the use of compound (A) according to formula (I), which has the chemical name: 3-chloro-5-(trifluoromethyl)pyridine-2-carboxylic acid, for the induction of positive growth responses in plants. A plant treatment method is also proposed in which compound (A) is applied to plants, to the seeds out of which they grow, or to the locus, in a non-phytotoxic amount that is effective for inducing positive growth responses.
EFFECT: invention induces positive growth responses in plants.
