FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: method comprises the research of the well and/or use of the data from the initial geological and physical characteristics of the reservoir, the data on physical properties of oil, the composition of the associated gas, the results of field and hydrodynamic research of the well in the steady mode, including the pairs of values of bottomhole pressure and well capacity on oil, and determining the rheological and/or filtration system parameters "reservoir-oil" by the method of modelling the filtration processes of nonlinear viscoplastic oil based on the data obtained with the definition of its influx. In the model of filtration of nonlinear viscoplastic oil, the drainage area and the shape factor of the supply circuit are taken into account, and the quasi-steady influx of the said oil to the bottom of the vertical production well located in any place of a drainage area arbitrary in shape, is determined by the mathematical formula.

EFFECT: increase in the accuracy of determining the rheological, filtration properties of oil and thermobaric parameters of the system "reservoir-oil" taking into account the influence of non-Newtonian properties of nonlinear viscoplastic oil.
