SUBSTANCE: invention relates to information measurement equipment and can be used for acquisition and recording of flight data, saving of this information in case of flight accidents, as well as for in-service inspection of systems and equipment of small aircraft. A small-size system for acquisition and recording of flight data, which includes an acquisition and conversion module, a control module, a sound information processing module, a protected memory device, a total life module, which differs by the fact that it is provided with a computation module intended to process information from on-board systems of aircrafts and to shape an Accident signal, to transfer it before crash via a series two-directional code to AWS through the acquisition and conversion module, with that, all modules are connected to each other via an internal bus and located in one housing.

EFFECT: enlarging functional capabilities of the system due to combination of functions of an on-board recorder and an automatic stationary radio beacon so that its advance actuation is provided at occurrence of conditions unambiguously characterising an emergency situation.
