SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a pole shoe, in particular the generator pole shoe. The pole shoe comprises a polar package designed as laminated, at least one winding located around the pole package and the end face element provided at least on one end of the pole package. The end face element has rounded-off edges for transition without angles between the end face element and the pole package. The pole shoe can be used in generators, in particular in generators of wind power plants.
EFFECT: improvement of reliability and increase of service life of a pole shoe.
