FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to magnetic-pulse processing of materials and can be used for forming of thin-sheet parts and elimination of dents, primarily, on aircraft elements and for processing, for example, of vehicle body steel sheets. Proposed device comprises electromagnetic system for generation of pulse magnetic fields in processed part, primary slow pulse current source and secondary fast pulse current source. There is secondary magnetic field direction , mainly, opposite the primary magnetic field direction. Secondary current source generates the train of two or more current pulses. Working head is composed of a separate moving assembly with handles or holders for its retention relative to the part.
EFFECT: lower peak working voltages, higher reliability of working head.
