FIELD: electrical engineering; electromagnetic devices, AC and DC drive systems, switching transistors. SUBSTANCE: magnetic flux amplifier incorporated in power device is made in the form of oscillatory power circuit resonance-tuned with respect to current, its home oscillation frequency being equal to that of its power supply; it has parallel-connected inductance coil with transformer core and capacitor so that common magnetic circuit of amplified magnetic flux receiver/converter circuit is formed. Parameters of inductance coil, core, and capacitor are chosen so as to set magnetic flux density in common magnetic circuit close to its full magnetic saturation limit at power device load ranging between no load and full load. EFFECT: enhanced amount of commercial current saved in the process. 12 dwg, 2 tbl
