FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to piston pumps driven with a rotating cam. A pump assembly includes a base, a cam, a cylinder, a piston and a removable gasket clamp. The cam is rotated about rotation axis relative to the base. The cylinder is fixed on the basis and has an inlet opening and an outlet opening for fluid medium. The piston is brought into back-and-forth movement due to rotation of the cam. Suction of fluid medium to the cylinder is performed through the inlet opening during the filling process. Closing of the inlet opening and pumping-out of fluid medium from the cylinder is performed during the pumping-out process. The removable gasket clamp is inserted with a possibility of being removed between the cylinder and the base to increase distance between the inlet opening and the rotation axis. Insertion and removal of removable gasket clamps changes pump supply.
EFFECT: invention allows adjusting pump supply without complete removal of the cylinder and without any leakage when fluid medium is in the pump.
