SUBSTANCE: method includes formation of primary composite work piece containing an external shell and the axial cylindrical unit, sealing of primary composite work piece, crimping, extrusion and subsequent deformation to make a bar with pre-set shape and size, bar cutting into measured lengths, formation of secondary composite work piece by assembly of the cut bars into external shell, sealing of secondary composite preparation, crimping, extrusion and subsequent deformation to the final size of wire. Deformation after extrusion of the primary composite work piece, and the secondary composite work piece is performed by drawing, meanwhile the number of passes at repeated drawing is determined by a certain formula.
EFFECT: invention provides continuous deformation of composite work piece until getting the final size of superconducting wire.
