FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method of producing a sorbent for cleaning waste water includes reacting elementary sulphur and sodium hydroxide in an aqueous solution in the presence of hydrazine hydrate. Further, chlorinated lignin and organochloride wastes from production of epichlorohydrin are fed for reaction, followed by polycondensation at 40-45°C.
EFFECT: obtained sorbent demonstrates nickel, zinc, cadmium, lead, mercury, copper and cobalt sorption of 330-450 mg/g.
