FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: lignin is pre-chlorinated with chlorine water. The resulting chlorlignin containing not more than 14.1% of chlorine is reacted with an alkali metal polysulphide which is obtained in an aqueous solution of hydrazine hydrate. The process of polycondensation at a temperature of 40°C and the molar ratio of chlorine to sulfur=1:1. The obtained product has a sorption value for nickel up to 360 mg/g, for zinc up to 423 mg/g, for cadmium up to 462 mg/g, for mercury to 467 mg/g, for copper 411 mg/g, for cobalt up to 323 mg/g, for lead to 376 mg/g.
EFFECT: improving the characteristics of the lignin obtained.
