SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the textile industry, in particular to the technological process of preliminary processing of long-fibre materials on the feeder, and also to recycling wastes of textile manufacture. In the fitting of the crest feeder for processing the long-fibre materials, comprising the working elements with longitudinal section in the form of a trident, mounted in common base, each working element in the base has a cross section in the form of an elongated rhomb, has five ellipsoidal openings, at that the large axis of the central opening is oriented horizontally, and the large axes of the remaining openings are oriented along the diagonals of the overall rectangle of the central opening, at that the central opening is connected with each of the remaining openings with a channel, on each side of the working element two vertical grooves are made, the height of the middle tooth of the working element is less than the height of the outermost teeth, and the working elements are located in the base in rows sequentially with an equal pitch.

EFFECT: improvement of quality of semi-finished product, increase in its strength properties, reduction of sending the long fibre to wastes, better separation of foreign impurities and dust, increasing the degree of cleaning the fibre, reduction of breakage at the subsequent transitions.
