SUBSTANCE: invention relates to text input to portable device, particularly, to text input to devices with sensory display. Screen with text input area is displayed with at least one vowel and consonant to detect one or more events of multi-touches of at least two symbols of keys included in text input area. Note here that multi-touch event included the touch of at least two key symbols at retention of the touch of the other of two key symbols. Then, key symbols selected on the basis of multi-touch events for display of at least one particular text. Note here that displayed at least one particular text is not loaded at retention of at least one or more event of multi-touches. Besides, each of said two key symbols are selected from predefined set of symbols including at least vowel symbol, at least one consonant symbol and at least one symbols for input of dual consonant.
EFFECT: input of increased number of symbols by smaller number of keys, hence smaller size of keys at small display.
