SUBSTANCE: invention can be used at the thermal power plants to recover excessive heat energy generated by the thermal power plant systems during operation. The recovery of the discharged low-grade heat energy of the spent turbine steam and recovery of the low-grade steam heat of the heat bleeding from the steam turbine are performed. Besides, recovery of the low-grade heat of the oil supply system of the steam turbine bearings is performed. The said types of recovery are performed using the thermal engine with closed circulation circuit operating under Rankine organic cycle. The low boiling working medium is used as cooling medium. It is compressed in the condensate pump and heated in WHE of the thermal engine, heated in steam turbine condenser, heated in oil cooler, heated and evaporated in bottom system water heater, heated in upper system water heater of the steam turbine, expanded in the turbine expander of the thermal engine, its temperature is decreased in WHE and condensed in condensing heat exchanger of the thermal engine.
EFFECT: method ensures increased efficiency coefficient of the thermal power plant due to complete use of the excessive steam power generated by the thermal power plant systems, and reduces thermal discharges to environment.
