SUBSTANCE: invention relates to oil and gas industry, namely to thawing of boreholes during operation or repair of gas and gas-condensate wells located in the zone the permanently frozen high-icy rocks. The light-weight alcohol-salt solution for thawing of gas wells in the zone of permanently frozen high-icy rocks contains, wt %: potassium chloride electrolyte 8.0-10.0; non-ionogenic surfactant 0.2-0.4; water-methanol solution at the ratio: water 40:60 the rest.
EFFECT: creation of conditions for thawing of a hydrate and ice block and bringing to the day surface of particles of crushed hydrate and ice block.
