SUBSTANCE: invention relates to motor pump assembly for the cleaning high-pressure apparatus with electric motor. The motor and pump assembly (10) comprises the electric motor (22) and the pump (12). The electric motor has the motor housing (28) on the outer side of which the cooling channel (62) is located. The pump (12) has the suction inlet (24) and the pressure head outlet (26). The liquid to be subjected to pressure is supplied to the suction inlet (24) through the cooling channel (62). For the possibility of cost-saving fabrication and assembly of motor and pump assembly the motor housing (28) has the first and second parts (38, 40) of the housing. They are implemented with a possibility of mutual connection, impenetrable for liquid, and form among themselves the cooling channel (62). The first part (38) of the housing and the second part (40) of the housing form among themselves the drainage channel (60) which has at least one drain hole (96). The channel (60) is located between the cooling channel (62) and the electric motor (22).

EFFECT: improvement of safety of operation of motor and pump assembly.
