SUBSTANCE: medium voltage circuit breaker (1) comprises insulating frame (2) of the base carrying a pole assembly having for each phase a breaker block (3, 4, 5) containing interconnected and interdisconnected fixed and movable contacts, drive (6) for activation of opening and closing operations of the circuit breaker and control and diagnostics unit (7) comprising control box (8) having a body (81) enclosing multitude of auxiliary devices (50-55, 86) for the circuit breaker (1). The box (8) contains a joint connection of plug type with respective plug-type connector in the insulating frame (2).
EFFECT: simplified design and wiring of the circuit breaker with minimised amount of welding operations.
