FIELD: tests of power supply sources under electric load. SUBSTANCE: testing gear includes main shells 57R, 57S and 57T of resistors meant for testing under load at high voltage which are made up of resistive assemblies Ri, Si and Ti correspondingly. Each assembly has row of lengthy resistive elements rj mounted in one plane in parallel with gaps between them and connected in series with ends to form train of resistive elements so that corresponding resistive elements rj of resistive assemblies Ri, Si and Ti are interconnected. Resistive assemblies Ri, Si and Ti are placed one above another so that main shells are formed with gaps between them and flat sides of resistive assemblies are put in parallel. Testing gear also has first switching over elements Swaij and Swbij. One end of each element is connected to end of proper resistive element rj. Elements form rows Swai and Swbi of switching over elements. Testing gear includes conducting elements Cai and Cbi between assemblies which mutually connect other ends of first switching over elements Swaj and Swbj of rows Swai and Swbi and vacuum network interrupter ( high-voltage switch ) 86 that connects some conducting elements Caj and Cbj between assemblies to power supply source ( three-phase A C generator ) 88 which is tested.
