METHOD FOR ADAPTIVE PROCESSING OF NOISE EMISSION SIGNAL Russian patent published in 2015 - IPC G01S3/80

Abstract RU 2561010 C1

FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: method for adaptive processing of a noise emission signal comprises receiving a noise emission signal of an object; forming a static vertical bean pattern fan; wide-band frequency filtering the signal; measuring the noise level and selecting a threshold; detecting the signal in each spatial channel; measuring the signal amplitude in channels where the noise emission signal of the object has been detected; and making a decision on the angle of arrival of the signal on the spatial channel where the signal is maximum; signal filtration is carried out in multiple frequency bands; the static beam pattern fan is formed in the same bands; identifying detected signals between the beam patterns of all frequency bands; selecting the beam pattern in which the maximum signal has been detected; measuring the angle between the horizontal direction of movement and the position of the beam pattern with the maximum amplitude of the received signal Q; measuring the velocity V of the carrier; repeating measurement through a fixed time interval T and determining the required value of changing the depth of immersion of the antenna of the receiving system for the time T using the formula H=VTtgQ, wherein the direction of changing the depth of immersion is determined from the position of the angle Q; if the beam pattern, which determines the angle Q, is directed upwards the depth should be reduced; if the beam pattern, which determines the angle Q, is directed downwards the depth should be increased; and if the beam pattern matches with the direction of movement and Q=0°, the depth should not be changed.

EFFECT: use of the invention improves efficiency of using hydroacoustic equipment.
