FIELD: physics, acoustics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to industrial acoustics. The sound-absorbing element comprises a smooth and a perforated surface with a multilayer sound-absorbing structure in between, said structure consisting of two layers: a sound-reflecting layer adjoining the rigid wall, and a sound-absorbing layer adjoining the perforated wall. The layer of sound-reflecting material has a complex profile, which consists of uniformly distributed hollow tetrahedrons which enable to reflect sound waves incident in all directions. The perforated wall has the following perforation parameters: hole diameter 3-7 mm, perforation percentage 10-15%, wherein the holes can be circular, triangular, square, rectangular or rhomboid. In case of non-circular holes, the nominal diameter should be considered the maximum diameter of the circle inscribed in the polygon. The sound-absorbing material used is Rockwool mineral wool on a basalt base or URSA mineral wool or P-75 basalt wool or glass wool lined with glass felt, or a foam polymer, for example, polyethylene or polypropylene. The surface of fibrous sound absorbers is treated with special porous paints which are air-permeable, for example Acutex T, or are coated with air-permeable fabrics or nonwoven materials, for example Lutrasil.
EFFECT: high efficiency of sound-proofing and reliability of the structure as a whole.
