FIELD: physics, acoustics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to industrial acoustics. Claimed device consists of a stiff carcass hooked with ropes to ceiling of industrial room and incorporates a noise-absorbing element. It is composed of a combined multilayer noise-absorbing structure composed by symmetric perforated walls. Three layers are arranged between said walls. Central layer made of noise-reflecting material of complex shape consists of uniformly distributed hollow tetrahedrons to reflect incident audio waves. Noise-absorbing layers of different-density materials. Said carcass is composed by rectangular parallelepiped with ribs L×H×B related as follows: L:H:B = 2:1:0.5. Every said perforated wall made of structural material with damping coating has holes of round, triangular, square, rhombic profile with diameter of 3-7 mm. Sound-absorbing material can be foam aluminium, cermet, stone of 30-40% porosity or other fibrous of porous mineral materials with binder. Entire surfaces of said sound-absorbing element is lined with acoustically transparent materials, for example, glass fabric of EhZ-100 type or copolymer resin "Poviden".
EFFECT: higher efficiency of high frequency sound absorption.
