FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: set of inventions relates to equipment for submarines. In submarine operation drive motor is used supplied via pulse gate frequency converters. Subject to versions of connection of its phase windings inverter can be operated in surface and underwater navigation modes. In the case of said first mode drive motor efficiency and its acoustic noises are optimised. Mode changeover occurs at a definite working point defined subject to drive motor rpm, current of phase windings and propeller characteristics. Submarine comprises drive motor with winding divided into several phase windings that can be connected in both series and parallel. Phase windings are connected to DC source via two half-bridges. Two half-bridges and switch are used for serial connection of phase windings.
EFFECT: optimised motor operation.
