FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: disc brake consists of the body suspended from the car cushioned frame, 3D calliper mechanism with parallelogram links. It comprises brake disc, levers, support, con rods and shoes with friction linings. Calliper mechanism structural configuration allows revolution of the support relative to the body. Note here that articulated links features more than one degree of freedom.
EFFECT: simplified design, better manufacturability, easier assembly, higher reliability and efficiency, longer service life.
