FIELD: heating.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to heat engineering and can be used in cryogenic equipment for evaporation of gaseous mediums in liquid state. The cryogenic liquid evaporator contains the housing where heat exchange elements and a heater are located. The housing is implemented as at least two two-layer shells forming an annular cavity for flow of the heating heat carrier, each of shells consists of two interconnected shell rings between which the channels united in headers for supply and discharge of cryogenic component are formed. Shells of the housing are made profiled and contain cylindrical part and narrowed part designed as a confusor with formation of an annular cavity with channels for flow of the cryogenic component between the named parts. Inside the conic part the branch pipe connected with the cavity of the internal shell is installed, and header of supply and discharge of cryogenic component inside the external shell are located on the named narrowed part of the external shell.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at improvement of performance and expansion of functionality of the evaporator.
