SUBSTANCE: invention relates to heat engineering and can be used for evaporation of liquids and gasification of liquefied natural gas (LNG) and liquefied petroleum gases (LPG). Method and apparatus for regasification of liquid comprises heating liquid from container (1) in heat exchanger-heater (8) to temperature not higher than saturation temperature, prior to heating fluid pressure is increased by pump (3). After that liquid is supplied into throttle channel (11), in which critical flow is realized with formation of two-phase vapor-liquid flow, which is heated in heat exchanger-evaporator (14), and at the outlet of it a gas flow is obtained.

EFFECT: improving reliability and economy of gasification process and providing stable operation of heat exchanger without cavitation in its hydraulic circuit.
