FIELD: tobacco industry.
SUBSTANCE: one proposes a method for production of an absorbent particle carrying a flavouring agent. The absorbent contains an absorbent core particle with specific BET surface area equal to 700 m2/g or more and an aroma-generating medium on the surface of such absorbent core particle that includes a flavouring agent and a material retaining such flavouring agent. The material retaining the flavouring agent is present in an amount of 5 - 20% of the total weight of the absorbent particle carrying the flavouring agent while the flavouring agent is present in an amount of 10 -50% of the weight of the material retaining the flavouring agent. The method involves the stage of spraying a liquid aroma-emitting composition, containing a flavouring agent and a glucan, onto the absorbent core particle. Spraying is performed in the course of stirring absorbent core particles at an underpressure equal to 12.3 kPa or less.
EFFECT: invention ensures production of absorbent particles with a large quantity of flavouring agent for a short time.
