SUBSTANCE: adsorbent for cigarette smoke main flow components that is contained in the cigarette filter composition includes activated carbon particles. The surface of every activated carbon particle is coated with a water-soluble glucan film. The glucan film is formed of pullulan. Additionally one proposes a cigarette filter containing the said adsorbent for cigarette smoke main flow components.
EFFECT: one ensures the filter capacity to suppress flavouring agent adsorption without smoking and adsorb main flow components.
