FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of automated storage and bundling of containers for minor parts. Proposed system comprises rack system with multiple racks. Note here that first and second racks (30-1, 30-2) make rack corridors (36-1, 36-2) there between. There are multiple carriers (60) fastened to the rack and displacing in rack corridors to handle storage pieces in crosswise direction (Z). Besides, there is at least one lifter with gripper integrated with the rack. Lifter gripper is arranged to carry units of storage between rack transfer point (44) and at least one rack buffer point (48). This system comprises at least one conveyor extending via feed/discharge carrier into rack corridor and crosswise reversing mechanism. For method implementation above described system is used.
EFFECT: higher efficiency.
