SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of agricultural machinery industry, in particular to the tools for planting seeds and a method of controlling the depth of the furrow. The device of agricultural use for planting seeds comprises an opener connected to the frame, a semiconductor sensor, a data processing unit. The semiconductor sensor is made with the ability to perceive the characteristic associated with planting seeds, and to generate a signal corresponding to the perceived characteristic. The data processing unit is made with the ability to receive a signal corresponding to the perceived characteristic. The depth of the furrow can be adjusted based on the signal corresponding to the perceived characteristic. This characteristic may be a characteristic of the soil, the force applied to the device of agricultural use, or the position of part of the device of agricultural use.
EFFECT: constructive solution is aimed at improving the accuracy when cutting the furrow.
