FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to novel compounds in series of metallochelates of tetradentate azomethine ligands of 2-tosylaminobenzaldehyde and aliphatic diamines, namely [N,N'-bis(2-tosylaminobenzylidene)diaminodipropyliminate]zinc and cadmium of formula I , where M=Zn, Cd.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to obtain novel compounds, demonstrating photoluminiscent properties in blue area of spectrum and possessing higher quantum outputs and thermal stability.
