FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the space equipment and can be used to connect and to disconnect parts of the space vehicle. The mechanical lever lock contains a bracket secured on the first disconnected element, yoke with possibility of rotation on axis and fixed on the cylindrical surface of the second disconnected element or patch piece, lever with possibility of rotation on the bracket, rod with thread part, nut, spring and support in contact with the bracket, spring located on axis of the lever connection with the bracket, its ends exit outside or inside and elastically press the surfaces of the lever and bracket, lock support in contact with the first disconnected element. Surface of the lever and yoke contact is made at angle relatively to the horizontal surface and depending on the forces vector, friction coefficient, friction force vector, spring force and safety factor.
EFFECT: invention excludes weakening of the main carrying elements in carbon fibre-reinforced plastic structures, and reduces initial force for lock activation.
