GLASS CONTAINER WITH NECK HAVING INTERNAL THREAD Russian patent published in 2015 - IPC B65D1/02 

FIELD: packaging industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a glass container for storage of beverages, which are not under pressure. The container has a cylindrical neck made with the ability of sealed closing with the compressible stopper having a sealing portion of a cylindrical shape. The neck comprises an upper circular opening and an internal thread which enables to open and close reversibly the container by means unscrew and screw the stopper. The neck comprises an inner wall forming a straight cylindrical portion, in which the internal thread of the neck comprises at least two independent threads in the inner wall. The threads have a shape of ribs protruding from the inner wall, forming a threaded portion of cylindrical shape. The straight cylindrical portion extends from the opening in height of at least 30 mm. The neck comprises a first sealing portion without thread, located on the said straight cylindrical portion and below the lower end of the threads.

EFFECT: group of inventions due to the neck geometry prevents the ingress of stored liquid into the threads, and easy multiple opening and closing of the container.
