FIELD: bottle sealing. SUBSTANCE: proposed screw cap for bottles has practically cylindrical side wall 1 with internal thread 8 for turning onto external thread 11 of bottle neck 10. Upper part 2 of cap is made round and flat. Sealing projection 4 passes axially from inner side of cap upper part 2. Outer diameter of sealing projection corresponds to outer diameter of bottle neck or is slightly smaller than neck diameter. Inner diameter 2R2 of sealing projection is less than outer diameter D of bottle neck. Additionally practically cylindrical egg-shaped sealing projection 3 is made radially inside first cylindrical sealing projection 4. Outer diameter 2R1 of sealing projection 3 is greater than inner diameter d of bottle neck 10 for which cap is designed at least on section located near upper part of cap opposite to first sealing projection 4.
