SUBSTANCE: invention refers to dentistry and concerns treating wedge-shaped defects. Implementing the above method of treating wedge-shaped defects is ensured by using a phytopreparation in the form of an ointment that is made from the following ingredients: Ecdysterone - 0.05 g, 40% Chinese scholar tree infusion (1:5) - 10 ml; 40% polyflora pollen infusion (1:5) - 10 ml; Apilac - 0.5 g, clove essence - 0.5 ml, lanolin - 39.5 g, Vaselin - 39.5 g. The ointment is used by applications on the surface of a wedge-shaped defect for 15-20 minutes, once a day for 10 days after the teeth are pre-cleansed and desalivated; the patients are recommended not to eat or drink for 1 hour.
EFFECT: using the presented method of treating provides the pronounced odontotropic and anti-inflammatory action with maintaining the effect for a long period of time.
