FIELD: radio engineering, communication.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio electronic equipment. A waveguide flange connection comprises waveguides with flat flanges, between which there is a contact liner with a rectangular window having recesses on the periphery. The contact liner is configured to interface waveguides with a different flange configuration through installation and fixation thereof on the inner lateral surface of a groove at the centre of the contact surface of one of the flanges. The contact liner is fixed by fixing elements on the outer side of the contact liner, which are a continuation of the edges of its base, directed towards one side and having a certain inner inclination towards the base, and also by additional fixation with a sealing insert placed inside said groove. In the contact liner, around the periphery of the window, recesses form lobes which are alternately bent in opposite sides at the same angle.
EFFECT: enabling rapid assembling and dismantling of waveguides with a different flange geometry in limited access conditions.
