FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the journal bearing out of synthetic resin, used as the journal bearing in rack-type suspension (McPherson suspension) of four-wheel vehicle. The journal bearing (1) has top casing (2) out of the synthetic resin secured on the vehicle body by the setting element; bottom casing (3) out of the synthetic resin installed over the top casing (2), and has supporting surface for cylindrical spring of the suspension; assembly (5) of the journal bearing out of the synthetic resin installed in the ring space (4) between the top casing (2) and bottom casing (3); ring internal sealing element (8) and ring external sealing element (9) in both cases is out of the synthetic resin to seal correspondingly the ring clearance (6) from the internal peripheral side in radial direction (X) and ring clearance (7) from external peripheral side in radial direction (X) between the top casing (2) and bottom casing (3), at that the ring clearance (6) and ring clearance (7) ensure connection between the ring space (4) and external environment.
EFFECT: creation of the journal bearing out of the synthetic resin, able to prevent reliably the dust ingress on the slide surfaces without worsening of the sliding characteristics due to dust ingress, with possibility to reduce time for assemblage, and prevention of separation due to vibration, this increases durability and degree of sealing, and ensures smoothness of steering for long time period.
