FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to veterinary medicine. For growing calves, the stimulating mineral feed additive is added into the diet, which is used as a preparation of micellae of calcium carbonate "Alexanat Zoo". The preparation solution is given to drink daily for 60 days in a dose of 10 ml per head. Before administering to calves the additive is diluted in two litres of milk. The preparation "Alexanat Zoo" of grade A and density of 1400-1500 g/l is used.
EFFECT: invention provides an increase in weight gain in calves, improved biochemical profile of blood in animals with efficient exposure of the preparation after the termination of its use.
