FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises giving the preparation micellate of calcium carbonate "Alexanat Zoo" daily to calves to drink. The preparation is administered at a dose of 150 ml per head for 60 days prior to calving and 60 days after it. Before administering the preparation is diluted with water in a ratio of 1:50. "Alexanat Zoo" is used with the density of 1400-1550 g/l.
EFFECT: method enables to increase significantly the quantity and quality of the offspring obtained from the heifers while maintaining and improving the health of the animals.
